Insta360 is gearing up to release a new compact vlogging camera called the Luna. The device, which will compete with DJI’s Osmo Pocket line, is set to arrive before the end of June 2026.
What sets the Luna apart will be its dual-camera system, which includes a telephoto lens. This is a first for pocket-sized vlogging cameras, giving creators more options for framing shots than single-lens rivals.
Details are still under wraps. However, Insta360 said Luna “won’t just be another Pocket,” hinting at more features beyond the dual-lens setup.
The timing is interesting. DJI’s Osmo Pocket 3 has been a strong performer in this segment. Insta360’s move shows growing demand for portable creator tools, especially as more users look for compact devices that deliver professional-looking video.
