HUAWEI Mate X7 brings durability and flagship cameras to PH this February 19

HUAWEI will launch the Mate X7 in the Philippines on February 19, 2026. The foldable phone combines durability, flagship cameras, and a large‑screen experience.

The Mate X7 continues HUAWEI’s foldable lineup that started with the Mate X in 2019. Since then, the company introduced inward folding designs, slim hinges, and even a tri‑fold device. The new model builds on these with stronger protection, improved hinge engineering, and better water and dust resistance.

The phone has a slim profile with a vegan leather finish and comes in Nebula Red and Black. The outer screen uses Kunlun Glass, while the inner display has a three‑layer composite structure to handle repeated folding.

It also carries IP59 and IP58 ratings, making it resistant to splashes, dust, and immersion in water.

On the imaging side, the Mate X7 is the first foldable to match flagship bar phones. It features a True‑to‑Colour Camera with improved color reproduction, a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera for sharper low‑light shots, and a 50MP Telephoto Macro Camera for zoom and close‑up photos.

The device also features a 6.49‑inch outer screen and an 8‑inch inner screen powered by HUAWEI’s X‑True Display technology. Users can multitask with up to three apps open at once.

The phone runs on AppGallery, which now supports Google apps, local banking apps, and social platforms.
