AirPods Pro hearing aid features now available in the Philippines

Apple has added new hearing health features to the AirPods Pro in the Philippines. The update brings a Hearing Test, Hearing Aid support, and Loud Sound Reduction, making the earbuds more useful beyond music and calls.

The Hearing Test works like the ones done in clinics. It plays tones to check how well you hear in each ear, and the results are saved in the Health app. You can share the data with your doctor if needed. The test takes about five minutes.

The Hearing Aid feature is for people with mild to moderate hearing loss. It creates a personal sound profile based on the test or an audiogram from a professional. AirPods then adjust sounds in real time, making voices and background audio clearer while keeping music and calls natural.

The Loud Sound Reduction feature helps in noisy places. Using Apple’s H2 chip, it lowers harsh sounds while keeping clarity. It works in Transparency and Adaptive Audio modes, useful for concerts or crowded areas.

These features are available on AirPods Pro 2 and newer models, running iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS Tahoe. The AirPods Pro 3 is now available in the Philippines for ₱14,990.
