Kia launches new Sportage Turbo Hybrid in PH

Kia Philippines, under ACMobility, has officially launched the all-new Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid in the country. The fifth-generation compact SUV combines bold design, premium interiors, and electrified performance, marking Kia’s entry into the hybrid SUV segment in the Philippines.

The Sportage follows Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, featuring a Tiger Nose Grille, Star-Map LED headlights, projector foglights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, a Smart Power tailgate adds convenience.

Inside, the cabin offers leather seats, a 12.3-inch LCD infotainment system with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and multiple storage options. Audio comes via a 6-speaker setup on the EX or an 8-speaker Harman Kardon system on the SX.

Powering the SUV is a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a 1.49kWh lithium-ion battery. Together, they deliver 235 PS and 367 Nm of torque, offering responsive acceleration for both city and highway driving.

Safety features include six airbags, cruise control, and tire pressure monitoring. The SX variant adds advanced driver-assist systems such as Forward Collision Avoidance, Lane Keep Assist, and Blind Spot Assist.

Available colors include Wolf Grey, Snow White Pearl, and Gravity Grey, with SX-exclusive Heritage Blue.

Pricing starts at ₱1,978,000 for the EX, with an introductory price of ₱1,898,000 until July 31, 2026. The SX is priced at ₱2,098,000, while the SX with two-tone interiors costs ₱2,128,000. Kia backs the Sportage with a 5-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty.

The Sportage Turbo Hybrid is now available at Kia dealerships nationwide.
