Samsung has confirmed the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 on January 14, 2021. In the Philippines, the launch will be streamed live on their site at around 11PM, Manila time. According to this report from WinFuture, the flagship will have a flat Dynamic AMOLED display (because, you know, the iPhone has a flat display) with 3200 x 1440 resolution, 60 to 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus. The standard S21 will have a 6.2-inch screen while the Plus model will have a 6.7-inch one. Inside, both phones will run on a new 5nm Samsung Exynos 2100 processor with a 5G modem, 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. At the back, there's a 12MP main camera with a 1\/1.76" sensor and an f\/1.8 aperture lens. The other cams include a 64MP zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide snapper. It also has phase detection autofocus and a triple hybrid optic zoom. The front camera has a 10MP sensor with an f\/2.2 lens and an 80 degree wide field of view. The Galaxy S21 is said to come with a 4,000mAh battery while the Galaxy S21 Plus with a larger 4,800mAh battery.
