Those looking for new career opportunities should check out GrabJobs – the new online jobs marketplace player in the Philippines.

What is GrabJobs

GrabJobs is the newest online jobs marketplace to enter the country. Debuting in Singapore early this year, the online service already has more than 25,000 downloads and a number of big name clients under its belt.

“Having worked with several establishments in the food and beverage (F&B) industry in Singapore, we’ve noticed one challenge that we constantly faced – the unreliability and inconsistency around staffing. GrabJobs was created in response to staffing issues faced by employers in F&B, retail, hospitality, events, logisitics, warehousing, and BPOs, among others,” shares GrabJobs CEO and co-founder Emmanuel Crouy.

What sets GrabJobs apart from other job-search platforms are its features. Employers can broadcast job posts easier with push notifications, search and filter for candidates directly, and contact potential workers through the chat function on the app. Job seekers, on the other hand, can easily apply to job posts with just a tap. They are also notified of new job ads via push notifications.

Within the first week of its soft launch in the Philippines, GrabJobs had amassed over 1,000 registered job seekers on its app. SM Retail, Metro Retail, The Peninsula Manila, and Jollibee, to name a few, are some of the big names that have already gotten on board.
