Smart ‘Always On’ Internet Packages Now Available for All-In Postpaid Plans

Smart Communications is bringing its volume-based internet packages into its All-In postpaid plans.  Similar to the ‘Always On’ plans for Smart Prepaid and Smart Bro, the new Always On Internet packages enables All-In subscribers pay only for the amount of data they wish to consume.

“The most flexible postpaid plan just got more flexible” said Smart Mobile Marketing Head Guido Zaballero “With Always On, All-In subscribers can be online all the time and they’ll have plenty left to use on other packages.”

For Always On, one only needs to pay P300 for 30-day surfing capacity of 250MB.  Just like other All-In packages such as UnliTalk and UnliSurf, Always On can be activated by text (“ON<space><amount>” to 7577 e.g. On 50).

Here are the packages for Always On for postpaid subscribers:

Volume Price Validity Keyword Access Code
25MB P20 1 day ON<space>20 Send to 7577
50MB P30 1 day ON<space>30
250MB P300 30 days ON<space>300
500MB P500 30 days ON<space>500
1GB P750 30 days ON<space>750
2GB P995 30 days ON<space>995

Smart estimates that one consumes only these amounts data in a month:

  • Email: 10MB
  • Game Downloads: 100MB
  • Chat: 5MB
  • Social Networking : 20MB
  • Video Streaming: 100MB

“Always On reduces the risk of unexpected data charges. With it, you can easily keep track of your budget,” said Smart Broadband Internet and Data Services Head Giovanni Bacareza. “This, coupled with our stellar network brings unparalleled value to our mobile subscribers,” he ended

Users who prefer a time-based internet scheme can still avail of an UNLIsurf package by texting “Surf” to 7577. is one of the most active tech sites in the Philippines.
