Despite the sad news today, Lenovo Mobile has a good one! The company has informed us the Dolby Atmos powered A7000 is coming to the country soon!
So what is it? A quick trip to Wikipedia explained that Dolby Atmos is the name of a surround sound technology announced by Dolby Laboratories in April 2012, first utilized in Pixar’s Brave. The technology lets sound flow around you to create a more wholistic entertainment experience.
As for the A7000, other specs look pretty good. The multimedia centric device has a 5.5 inch IPS HD display with a 1280 by 720 resolution and 267 ppi. Powering it is an 1.5 GHz octa-core processor by MediaTek, a Mali T760MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The 8GB of storage could be lacking, but there is support for microSD up to 32GB. Finally, there’s the 8MP main camera, and a 5MP front one for selfie-addicts.
There is no price or date set for the A7000. But we were informed that additional details will arrive in the coming days.
