Swedish headphones brand Coloud recently launched The Hoop Anchor Earbuds in the Philippines. These ultra-lightweight, splash, sweat and dust resistant in-ear headphones were developed for athletes and active people.
The Hoop
Every element of The Hoop was thoughtfully designed for the urban adventurer. The Anchor Loop (attached on the earbuds) can be adjusted to keep the it snug in your ear while exercising. The cable itself has a reflective strip to help with night time visibility, while a cable clip keeps it place when you move.

- Impedance: 32 ohm

The Hoop also has a built-in mic and remote. If you use it with a smartphone, this allows the user to answer call, adjust the volume, as well as skip or repeat a track.
Zound Lasso
Like many of Coloud’s products, The Hoop also comes with their patented solution for chord tangles – the Zound Lasso. This convenient design starts with the pliable plug. It bends 180 degrees and forms a loop around the cable, holding it in place for easier storage when you’re not using the headphones.
Price and Availability
The Hoop has an SRP of PHP1,495. It comes in Electric Lime, Neon Orange and Solid Black. It will be available in selected Digital Walker and Beyond the Box outlets nationwide.
The Boom Kids
Coloud also announced kid-friendly headphones, the Boom Kids. These headphones are designed to be tough. The frame is crafted to withstand at least some punishment from a kid’s hands. It also has an built-in parental volume control that allows you to set the volume at safe and comfortable levels for your kid.
Designed for comfort and wearability, the Boom Kids uses a concept Coloud calls 3D ergonomics. This allows the headphones to follow the angles of the head for a better and more comfortable fit.
The Coloud Boom Kids also comes equipped with a mic and remote, and the Zound Lasso to lessen the hassles of chord tangles.
