With just a few days till Christmas, Ekotek gave its gift early by slashing more than 1k off the original price of the Ekophone Sage 2 LTE. Now priced at PHP3,499, the phone features a 5-inch display, a capable quad-core processor and LTE connectivity.

What do you get for PHP3,499 this holiday season? You get a smartphone that packs a 5 inch 960 x 540 resolution display, a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, a Mali T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Storage is a bit thin at only 8GB, but at least there’s a microSD card slot to compensate for it. The rest of the specs include an 8MP main camera, a 2MP front camera, dual SIM an OTG support, a 2,500 mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop. Not bad considering the price.
