It looks like manufacturers are going heavy on the battery capacity. Huawei recently announced the Y6 Pro, a variant of the Y6 smartphone that was launched last year. This version comes win a huge 4,000mAh battery.
Huawei claims the Y6 Pro’s 4000mAh battery can provide up to 15 hours of data use, 39 hours of talk time, 48 hours of heavy use time, and 90 hour of light use time. To reach these numbers, the phone applies a Smart Power Saving technology that uses eight separate power-optimization approaches.
The Huawei Y6 Pro has a metal frame with a texture design inspired by rippling water. Powering the device is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It has a 5 inch HD display, and a huge 4,000mAh battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 Lite on top.
No other information on price or availability is available.
