OPPO was on the money when they launched the selfie-centric OPPO F1s. The smartphone sold out in its first three days, and even released a Limited edition variant. Today, we unbox OPPO’s latest selfie expert and take a quick look at what made it a hit.
OPPO F1s Specs
Let’s take a look at what makes the OPPO F1s tick. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 by 720 resolution and a pixel density of 267 ppi, topped with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood you’ll find an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor paired with a Mali-T860MP2 graphics chip and 3GB of RAM.
One of its most standout features is its 16MP front facing camera, complete with an f/2.0 lens and a 1/3″ sensor. The main camera, or in this selfie expert’s case, the secondary back facing camera uses a smaller 13MP 1/3″ sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 with PDAF and an LED flash.
The rest of the specs include a fingerprint sensor, dual nano-SIM support, a large 32GB internal storage and an equally large 3,075 mAh battery.

Unboxing the OPPO F1s Specs
Here’s a short unboxing video of the OPPO F1s.
The OPPO F1s comes with the usual list of accessories with the welcome addition of a clear jelly case. You have your travel charger, the microUSB cable, earbuds, an OPPO branded SIM tray ejector tool and some documentation.
First Impressions
Looking at the OPPO F1s, you’ll quickly realize that it follows the same design language as the OPPO F1 Plus. The familiar look gives it a pleasing aesthetic with clean lines and a minimalistic appeal. Built quality is good as well. The metal unibody feels solid and curves give it a nice comfortable feel in the hand.
Taking a quick tour of the device, you’ll find the power button and SIM card slot on the right, the volume keys on the left and the micro USB slot, speaker and the audio port at the bottom. The back panel has the camera and the LED flash.
The OPPO F1s also seems to come with a pre-installed screen protector. Like the jelly case, it is another welcome addition to an already bang-for-the-buck package.
AnTuTu Benchmark
The OPPO F1s is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, 3GB of RAM and a Mali-T860MP2 graphics chip. I ran AnTuTu Benchmark app to give us an idea on how well it performs. The phone managed to get 41,103 points.
As always, please take the results with a grain of salt. Often times benchmark performance differs from real world usage.
Remarks
That’s about it for our unboxing of the OPPO F1s. Initial impressions are positive. The device certainly has a lot to offer and looks to live up to all the hype. Stay tuned for the full review coming soon.

Correction regarding your review/UNboxing for OPPO F1s, they dont have earbuds as part of their out of the box freebies, instead they only offer regular or standard earphone. Its a sad coz no noise cancelling when listening to music…
