Huawei officially launches the Huawei GR2017 in the Philippines. The mid-range phone comes with dual cameras, an octa-core processor and a large battery.

The Huawei GR5 2017 features a dual camera 12MP and 2MP setup that work together to create quality bokeh shots. The two lenses allows for a more dynamic depth of field effect. It is also equipped with PDAF that work with the sensors for fast autofocus in just 0.3 seconds.
The GR5 2017’s 8MP front camera has a 78 degree wide angle lens and 1080p video recording. It features a 1.25um large pixels for sharper images and improved performance in low light.
As for the specs, the Huawei GR5 2017 fronts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 and a pixel density of 401 ppi. Under the hood, you’ll find Huawei’s own octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and a Mali-T830 MP2 graphics unit. It has a generous 32GB storage, expandable via microSD, and Fingerprint 3.0 technology with improved 360-degree readability. The phone runs on Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.1, and is powered by a 3340 mAh battery.
