Digital Walker officially launches the OnePlus 5 in the Philippines; Price starts at Php26,490

Known as the “Flagship Killer,” the OnePlus 5 officially arrives in the Philippines. The phone is available in all Digital Walker stores starting at Php26,490.

OnePlus built a reputation for releasing premium smartphones at relatively affordable prices. Their latest, the OnePlus 5, is filled to the brim with worthwhile specs and features. It comes in at a friendly price that starts at Php26,490.

The OnePlus 5 features a 5.5-inch full HD Optic AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 paired with an Adreno 540 graphics unit. It comes in two RAM/storage configurations of 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB. There is no microSD card slot on board, but you do get an audio jack.

As for mobile photography, the phone packs a dual rear camera of 16MP sensor with a 24mm f1.7 lens, and a 20MP sensor with a 36mm f2.6 lens. It’s setup to provide the handset with a 1.6x optical zoom. The front camera uses a 16MP sensor with 20mm f2.0 lens.

The OnePlus 5 runs on Oxygen OS, a customized version of stock Android Nougat with some added features thrown in. It also has a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, a 3,300 mAh battery with Dash Charge, and Dirac HD sound.

The OnePlus 5 is now available in any Digital Walker nationwide with a retail price of Php26,490 for the 6GB/64GB variant, and Php30,990 for the 8GB/128GB.
