Honor Note 10 features 7-inch AMOLED display, Kirin 970, 5,000mAh battery

The Huawei Honor Note 10 is now official. The handset features 7-inch display, Kirin 970, and 5,000mAh battery.

Huawei sub-brand Honor recently launched the Honor Note 10 in China. The handset is not officially branded a gaming phone, but it does have the specs to play the most intensive games.

The Note 10 comes with a 6.95-inch full HD AMOLED display with no notch, a 2280 x 1080 resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen is HDR10 compliant and supports 115% color gamut.

Inside, you’ll find an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor with 6GB or 8GB RAM, a Mali-G72 MP12 graphics unit and GPU Turbo. It also has a Double Turbo mode (GPU Turbo + CPU Turbo) that can be activated through a dedicated button.

Interestingly, the Note 10 is equipped with a liquid cooling technology they call “The Nine” which they claim can help efficiently cool the internals of up to 10-degrees than what competitors are capable of. It is composed of eight layers of dissipation and one liquid-cooled pipe.

As for the cameras, the handset has a 24MP + 16MP dual camera module at the rear, and a 13MP sensor in front. It supports AI camera features such as scene recognition as well.

The Note 10 runs on EMUI 8.2 on top of Android Oreo, and it’s powered by a huge 5,000 mAh battery with Super Charge support.

The Honor Note 10 will have a price of CNY2,799 for the 6GB/64GB variant, CNY3,199 for the 6GB/128GB, and CNY3,599 for the 8GB/128GB. When converted, that’s around PHP22,000 (USD409), PHP25,000 (USD468), and PHP28,000 (USD527), respectively.

The phone will come in three colors — Phantom Blue, Lily White, and Midnight Black. It is currently available for pre-order in China, with the release date set on August 1, 2018.
