We already know the OPPO F9 is coming to the Philippines. We just didn’t know when. But now, the date has been confirmed.

OPPO Philippines recently sent the media invites for the event, with the date set on August 15, 2018. Its the same date as the other reported countries who’s set to launch the phone.

What we know so far

Just like the previous Selfie Experts, the OPPO F9 was not spared from leaks. While teasers confirmed some features (waterdrop screen, dual rear cameras, VOOC charging, new colors), its specs were mostly hidden — until a huge leak surfaced and confirmed it.

So, what do we know about the OPPO F9? According to the leak, the Selfie Expert will feature a 6.3-inch full HD+ Waterdrop display, 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage. It boasts of a 25MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI support. The rear camera uses a 16MP + 2MP dual sensor module with f/1.85 aperture.

The phone will have a 3,500 mAh battery and it will be powered by ColorOS 5.2 based on Android Oreo.

As for the price, no information is available about it yet. But chances are, it will be close to previous releases with probably a slight increase.
