According to 9to5Mac, the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone will be called the iPhone XS Max. This is according to two of their sources said to be familiar with Apple’s marketing plans. It will accompany the iPhone XS, which has a smaller 5.8-inch OLED display.
Moreover, the source adds that the iPhone XS and the XS Max are expected to come with 4GB RAM and dual SIM options in some markets, along with the new A12 SoC, Face ID, and wireless charging. It will still have the display notch and excludes the touch ID button.
A third, “cheaper” iPhone packing a 6.1-inch LCD display is reportedly going to launch on a later date.
Apple is set to launch two OLED iPhones, a cheaper LCD model, a new Apple Watch, and more on September 12, 2018.
