AGON opens 2019 with DOTA 2 Invitationals

AGON started 2019 with their first AGON DOTA 2 Invitationals that featured eight of the top local Philippine DOTA teams vying for the top prize of PHP40,000.

Over the weekend (January 4 to 6, 2019), AGON DOTA 2 Invitationals pitted eight of the best DOTA teams in the country in a double elimination tournament. The teams battled in a “Contest of Champions” format with a total of PHP70,000 in prizes at stake.

The eight teams who participated in the AGON DOTA 2 Invitationals were Execration, Sterling Global Dragons, TaskUs Titans, IAP, ArkAngel, Miraculum, Neon Esports, and NCGC.

In the end, it was team Execration who came out on top. They beat Neon Esports in a best of 3 battle, winning it all 2-1.
