Over 30 Philippine retailers are rallying behind Huawei, to allay fears and reassure customers of continued support.
Partner retailers and dealers will offer a “Special Warranty Program” for customers who will purchase any current Huawei smartphone. All devices covered by the special warranty will have no issues on any of the Google apps and services such as the Google Play Store, Gmail, Google Maps, Photos, Chrome, and YouTube. This includes non-Google apps like Facebook and Instagram as well.

The special warranty is offered exclusively by participating dealers to make sure customers and their new Huawei device get the support they need and deserve. Huawei retail partners including MemoXpress, Rulls, and around 30 more support this initiative to reassure customers that all Huawei devices purchased from them are fully equipped with Google services.
For those not familiar with Huawei’s situation, sometime ago the US government placed the Chinese company on the entity list, banning them from accessing US technologies and doing business with US companies like Google, Android, ARM, and more. Recently, Facebook has banned Huawei from pre-installing their apps on unreleased Huawei devices.
