Vivo pushes back FuntouchOS 10 update rollout

The coronavirus affects another smartphone maker. This time, Vivo is pushing back its planned rollout for the FuntouchOS 10 Android 10 update. Previously, OPPO announced its own delayed updates because of the novel virus.

Initially, Vivo was going to begin rollout this February. But recent events concerning the coronavirus outbreak has caused an unexpected delay.

Vivo also mentioned that it is planning to push the FuntouchOS 10 public beta on March to several handsets including the Vivo NEX 3 series, Vivo X27 series, Vivo NEX, and the Vivo NEX Dual Screen version.

As with most updates from Chinese phone manufacturers, expect the rollout to start in China, followed by the rest of the world after.
