realme Smart TV is coming to the Philippines soon

realme is set to bring its new Smart TV to the Philippines. The company posted a teaser on its official Facebook page.

realme’s upcoming Android TV was announced in India last May 2020. Meaning at this point, information about the smart TV is pretty much known by now.

The realme Smart TV comes in two sizes, 32-inches 720p and 43-inch 1080p, with a bezel-less design. The TV sets have 16:9 aspect ratio LED panels with a Chroma Boost Picture Engine. It also has 24-watt quad stereo speakers with support for Dolby Audio.

Inside, the smart TV is powered by a 64-bit quad-core CPU with ARM Cortex A53 cores with a Mali-470 MP3 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. It runs on Android TV, which means it can run numerous apps, such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Spotify, and about 5,000 more from the Play Store.

As for connectivity, the TV supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5, three HDMI ports, two USB-A ports, an AV connector, a LAN port, a digital audio out, and an antenna connector.

The realme Smart TV comes with an all-in-one remote controller with an ergonomic and slim design, offering a comfortable grip with minimal buttons.

realme Philippines has yet to reveal the launch date, price and availability details. But we can at least take a guess at how much it will cost, based on global prices.

In India, the realme Smart TV is priced at INR 14,999 for the 32-inch model, and INR 23,999 for the 43-inch model. Converted, that’s around Php 10,000 and Php 16,200, respectively.
