Infinix recently announced the Note 10 and Note 10 Pro. The two handsets are the next big thing from the rising brand.
Like most of their phones, the series feature large displays with an equally large batteries. But unlike its non-pro counterpart, the Infinix Note 10 Pro has a leg up with better internals. On this article, we’re going to share our initial thoughts on the phone. Read on.
Unboxing
The Infinix Note 10 Pro comes in a now familiar green box with the phone’s branding. You’ll notice that it’s taller than other phone boxes because of its size.
Infinix handset retail packages are one of the most complete you’ll come across. This one includes a tempered glass, a case, USB-C cable, a 33W fast charger, a SIM eject tool, the warranty card, and an XClub voucher. Take note that you have to install the tempered glass yourself.

Initial Review and First Impressions
Right out of the box, the first thing I noticed on the Infinix Note 10 Pro is its size. The handset is huge and it shows, literally dwarfing other phones in comparison.
As I got over how huge it was, I was then drawn in by its design. It has a two-tone reflective back panel that looks clean and elegant. From here, you’ll notice the Infinix logo and the rather thick rectangular camera island housing quad cameras and a quad-LED flash.

At the front, you have a spacious 6.95-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It has a punch hole camera at the top center. And just above it, hidden on the top bezel you can see the earpiece (which is also the secondary speaker) and the front-facing LED flash. It’s hard not to notice the screen considering the size, but the colors and brightness are already quite good.

On the right, you have the power button/fingerprint scanner and the volume rockers. On the left, we have the triple slot SIM tray that can carry two Nano SIM cards and a MicroSD slot that supports up to 2TB capacity cards.

There’s nothing at the top, and on the bottom side, you have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and the main half of the stereo speakers.
As for performance, the Note 10 Pro has a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset with an ARM G76 GPU. Our review unit has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Like the display, the phone has a huge 5,000mAh battery, assuring at least a full day of use. It supports 33W fast charging, which should prove useful considering the battery size.

The handset runs on XOS 7.6, based on Android 11. The UI is clean with an intuitive layout. It comes with a handful of pre-installed apps. You can just uninstall it if you’re not going to use it.
And for the cameras, there are four at the back — a 64MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP black and white, and a 2MP portrait. For selfies, a 16MP snapper is under that punch hole in the front. Initial tests show a lot of promise with good-looking images. You can check out some of our test photos below:
Wrap Up
So far, the Infinix Note 10 Pro is already looking like a very capable phone with decent specs and an attractive design. And with a friendly price tag of Php 9,990, it’s looking very much like a high value-for-money device.
The Infinix Note 10 and Note 10 Pro are set to launch in the Philippines on August 12.
That’s it for our unboxing and initial impressions. Stay tuned for our full review.
