It looks like the realme GT Neo2 5G is about to make its way to the Philippines. The handset appeared on realme PH’s official website, which you can find here (overview page) and here (specs page).
[Update 02/15/22: We were informed that realme service centers in the Philippines will honor the warranty of realme devices purchased on the realme Official Global Store in Shopee and Lazada. The article has been updated to reflect the new information].
The overview page seems to have been taken down, but the specs page is still up and running. As for the price, the realme GT Neo2 5G is revealed to have an SRP of Php 26,990.
The realme GT Neo2’s product page going up on realme Philippines’ official website is a strong indicator of an imminent launch or availability. But at this point, all we can do is wait for an official announcement.
In the meantime, realme PH is busy with the upcoming launch of its sub-brand DIZO in the country, scheduled on February 11, 2022. You can read more about it here.
realme Official Global Store on Shopee and Lazada
Surprisingly, you can actually find the realme GT Neo2 in the Philippines via the realme Official Global Stores on Shopee and Lazada (at the time of this article, it’s priced cheaper too). These are legitimate, run by realme HQ in China.
As for the warranty, realme service centers in the Philippines will honor the warranty of realme devices purchased from these stores. Just be sure to keep safe the proof of purchase for this purpose. You can find the list of official service centers here.
realme GT Neo2 5G
To recap, the realme GT Neo2 launched in China in September 2021, boasting flagship quality specs with an affordable price tag. It was then followed by a global launch in November of the same year. Unfortunately, the Philippines was not among the countries slated to have the handset when it was announced. But it looks like that will change this year.
