Apple announces the new 10th generation iPad which features a large 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, the A14 Bionic chip, USB-C, and support for the new Magic Keyboard Folio.
Anong the changes and updates, the new iPad features a redesigned appearance, now resembling the iPad Air 5 with a more modern look and flat sides. It has a large 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 2360 x 1640 resolution, True Tone, Dolby Vision, and HDR10.
The front camera was moved to a more convenient location, allowing for a better angle for video calls when in landscape orientation. It has 12MP sensor with support for Center Stage.
Under the hood, the iPad 10th gen is powered by the A14 Bionic chipset. The chip was released in 2020, and features a 6‑core CPU, a 4‑core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. Unfortuantely, to say Apple still didn’t opt for a 128GB as the base storage, going with 64GB instead. However, there is a 256GB option with a heftier price tag.
There are four speakers, two on each side, and a USB-C port, a welcome addition that makes the whole iPad lineup USB-C equipped.
Apple also announced the new Magic Keyboard Folio for the iPad 10th gen for PHP 16,490. It has a detachable keyboard cover and a back cover that also works as a stand.
The tablet supports the Apple Pencil 1st gen. Since it comes with a Lightning Port, Apple also released an USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter for PHP 590.

The new iPad comes in four bold color options — Blue, Pink, Silver, and Yellow — moving away from more subtle hues often associated with the tablets.
As for the price, the iPad is more expensive than its predecessor at launch. The 10th generation starts at PHP 29,990, as opposed to the 9th generation’s starting price of PHP 19,990 back in 2022.
