The elite B&O Beosound Theatre soundbar can turn any room into a home theatre for ₱850k

Danish audio brand Bang & Olufsen recently launched the Beosound Theatre sound bar in the Philippines. The Beosound Theatre is a high-end ₱850,000 audio system capable of turning any room into a legitimate home cinema.

Like any Bang & Olufsen product, the Beosound Theatre is meticulously crafted to blend seamlessly into any home. The design is inspired by the effortless grace of sailboats, made to appear as if it’s resting on an aluminum blade in one fluid form.

The soundbar is powered by twelve custom drivers that direct sound above, below, and to the sides of the screen. It can be used as a dedicated sound center or as a centerpiece for a home cinema.

As a part of a home cinema setup, it functions as a center speaker that merges the Dolby Atmos decoding and custom-tuned post-processing with Bang & Olufsen’s proprietary True Image algorithm to maximize the capabilities of all Bang & Olufsen loudspeakers. It is equipped with seven built-in outputs that can support up to 16 external for a full-blown Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 surround configuration.

In addition, the Beosound Theatre comes with a new bass management system that uses Bang & Olufsen loudspeakers in the system to work together as a single unit. This not only provides the maximum potential of the entire system but also helps to control the resonance in a listening room, making sure that the various loudspeakers work with and not against each other.

At the launch event, we were treated to a demo of the soundbar, and so far, it is impressive. The sound quality is insane with very good separation and clear and crisp audio.

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Theatre has a starting price of ₱850,000, distributed by Living Innovations in the Philippines. You can visit Bang & Olufsen showrooms in Shangri-la at The Fort in BGC (Sovrano Showroom), Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong, and Powerplant Mall in Makati.
