The OPPO Reno8 series will soon have a new member. The OPPO Reno8 T is set to launch in the Philippines on February 8, joining the OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G and Reno8 5G.
OPPO Philippines posted a teaser on its official Facebook page on January 25, followed by a launch page on its website that showcases two color variants, black and an orange leather design, along with some key specs.
The landing page revealed the Reno8 T will come with a 100MP portrait camera. The orange variant will have a “fiberglass-leather design” with a flagship feel, which is a marketing term for a plastic faux leather texture.
Also revealed was the phone’s large 5000mAh battery, along with 8GB of RAM (plus 8GB more via RAM expansion) and 128GB of storage.
Meanwhile, rumors suggest the Reno8 T is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. But some markets are said to have a MediaTek Helio G99 4G variant, which is probably what’s heading to the country.
Interestingly, the OPPO Reno8 T will come with 48-month Fluency Protection. Basically, it’s a TÜV SÜD certification that guarantees the phone will have a smooth performance from day one, with little to no degradation up to 48 months later.
As for the rest of the specs, we have to wait a couple more weeks for the official launch of the OPPO Reno8 T in the Philippines on February 8.
