Infinix announces ‘Guard Your Goddess Miya’ MLBB tournament with P50K cash prize

The tournament will feature a regular 5v5 MLBB game but with a twist.

Infinix is going to host a two-day Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament called “Guard Your Goddess Miya” starting on June 18, 2023. A cash prize of P50,000 and Infinix NOTE 30 5G units will be up for grabs for the winning team.

The tournament will feature a regular 5v5 MLBB game but with a twist. Each team must have a Miya player as their goddess, who must be protected at all costs. The goddess must not die while the team tries to destroy the enemy base.

In MLBB lore, Miya is a moonlight archer and priestess who follows the Moon Goddess. She believes that humans should guard their goddesses, who represent all that is good and beautiful in the world.

The Infinix Guard Your Goddess Miya tournament is open to all-male, all-female, or mixed teams of players who are 18 years old and above, residing in Metro Manila and Greater Metro Manila. They must also be ranked Epic and above in MLBB.

Registration is free and will run from June 6 to June 13. Each team must consist of five members and submit a unique team name. Both amateur and former pro players are welcome to join, as long as each team has no more than two former pros.

Teams will also get to choose an Infinix chief gaming officer (CGO) that they want to team up with as their goddess during the final round. The CGOs are Kristine, Cherizawa, and Yskaela – three popular streamers and gamers who will add more fun and excitement to the tournament.

The online semi-finals will take place on June 18 and will be a best-of-three round. The Infinix CGOs will also join one round each as guest players.

The top three teams will advance to the grand finals at Market! Market! on June 25. They will play in a showmatch with their chosen Infinix CGOs for a collaborative experience. The champion will receive a cash prize of P50,000, Goddess Protector medals, and Infinix Note 30 5G units.
