Predator League returns with Dota 2 and Valorant tournaments for Filipino esports players

The Philippines’ premier esports tournament circuit is back with a bang!

The Predator League, the Philippines’ premier esports tournament circuit, is back with a bang! Filipino gamers can compete for a chance to win a share of PHP 1 million and the coveted Predator Shield in Dota 2 or Valorant.

The Predator League is a platform for aspiring esports talents to showcase their skills and pursue their dreams in the gaming industry. Since 2018, it has attracted more than 15,000 teams from the Asia Pacific region.

This year’s competition has three stages: the Qualifiers, the Group Stage, and the Grand Finals.

The Qualifiers are open to all Filipino players, both online and onsite. Four offline qualifiers will take place in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and NCR. Four online qualifiers will also be held for anyone in the country. The winners of each qualifier will receive PHP 5,000 and a spot in the Group Stage. The Qualifiers will run from July to October, with Dota 2 starting first followed by Valorant.

The Group Stage will feature the top 16 teams from the Qualifiers, divided into two groups. They will play in a best-of-one round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Grand Finals. The Group Stage matches will be live-streamed for fans to watch and support their favorite teams.

The Grand Finals will be a LAN event in November, where the top four teams will battle it out in front of a live audience. The champions of Dota 2 and Valorant will each claim the Predator Shield and PHP 250,000. The runners-up will get PHP 100,000, while the 3rd and 4th placers will receive PHP 55,000.

The Dota 2 and Valorant champions will also represent the Philippines in the Grand Final event in early 2024, where they will face other regional winners. More details about the Grand Finals will be announced soon.
