OPPO launches ColorOSHack 2023 global contest for smart service developers

Join the OPPO ColorOSHack 2023 and create smart services for the Pantanal platform.

OPPO is inviting developers from around the world to join its ColorOSHack 2023 contest and create smart services for its Pantanal platform. The contest, which runs from July 11 to September 15, aims to empower the lives of over 500 million ColorOS users with intelligent solutions in various scenarios such as lifestyle, transportation, and entertainment.

The Pantanal platform is a comprehensively intelligent platform that connects different devices and services through context awareness, service running, and natural interaction. It has already collaborated with 21 eco-partners in China and overseas, including Meituan, Baidu Map, Umetrip, Xiaohongshu, Snapchat, Spotify, Zamato, and Swiggy. More than 300,000 developers have contributed to the Pantanal ecosystem so far.

This year’s ColorOSHack contest focuses on Southeast Asia, a region with diverse cultures and markets. OPPO hopes to find local service providers or developers who can leverage the Pantanal platform’s capabilities and develop smart services that meet the needs and preferences of Southeast Asian users.

To help developers achieve low-cost, cross-terminal service development quickly, OPPO provides a comprehensive developer empowerment system that includes Pantanal DevFwk, Pantanal DevStudio, and supporting guidelines. These tools allow developers to easily adapt to various terminals and entry points, optimize cross-platform operating efficiency, and obtain and validate results quickly. A single developer can complete service development in as little as three days and end-to-end service uploads in 30 days.

OPPO also offers online event briefings, online salons, technical support, and professional advice for the contest participants. The winning works will receive prizes and support from the OPPO App Store.
