vivo unveils Pad Air with 144Hz display and Snapdragon 870

vivo’s new tablet offers high performance at a low-cost.

vivo unveiled a new Android tablet that aims to complement the vivo Pad2 that launched in April. The vivo Pad Air, as the name suggests, is a lightweight and thin tablet with an 11.5-inch IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio.

The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage and runs on Android 13 with vivo’s OriginOS 3 skin on top.

It also supports stylus input via the vivo Pencil2, which is sold separately. The tablet has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calls and selfies. The battery capacity is 8,500mAh and supports 44W fast charging.

The vivo Pad Air comes in three colors: Brave Powder, Free Blue, and Easy Silver. The tablet is already on sale in China, with prices starting from CNY 1,799 (around PHP 13,900 or USD 247) for the 8GB+128GB model and going up to CNY 2,599 (around PHP 20,100 or USD 357) for the 12GB+512GB model. There is no word yet on when the tablet will be available in other markets.
