TP-Link recently opened its first physical store in the Philippines, located at SM North EDSA. Along with this milestone, the brand also introduced its latest products from the Archer Air Series, featuring ultra-thin routers and extenders with Wi-Fi 6 technology.
The Archer Air Series launches in the country, consisting of two models: the Archer Air R5 Wi-Fi 6 router and the Archer Air E5 Wi-Fi 6 extender. These devices boast an ultra-thin profile, measuring only 8 mm in thickness. The sleek and minimalist design allows them to blend seamlessly into any modern environment, providing both exceptional performance and an aesthetically pleasing addition to any space.
The Archer Air R5 and Archer Air E5 are equipped with Wi-Fi 6 technology, which delivers faster speeds, lower latency, higher capacity, and stronger security. The Archer Air R5 supports dual-band speeds of up to 3 Gbps, while the Archer Air E5 supports speeds of up to 1.8Gbps. Both devices use OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology to connect multiple devices simultaneously and efficiently.
The Archer Air R5 also features built-in smart antennas that use intelligent algorithms to detect the locations of connected devices and adjust the antennas’ direction accordingly. This ensures all-round stable signals even in duplex houses. The device also offers three antenna modes to meet different needs: auto mode, horizontal mode, and vertical mode.
The Archer Air Series is also compatible with EasyMesh, which allows users to create a whole home mesh network with other EasyMesh-compatible routers or extenders. This eliminates WiFi dead zones and ensures seamless roaming throughout the house.
The Archer Air Series is also easy to install and mount on walls or other surfaces. They come with 3M adhesives and plastic brackets that enable flexible placement options. The devices also have a simple and elegant appearance, with a pure white shell, rounded corners, and an LED and WPS 2-in-1 button on the front.
The Archer Air Series is now available at TP-Link’s physical store in SM North EDSA, as well as online platforms such as Lazada and Shopee. The suggested retail price for the Archer Air R5 is P6,590, while the Archer Air E5 is P5,990.
