Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S23 FE, a new smartphone that offers some of the features of the Galaxy S23 series at a lower price. The Galaxy S23 FE, which stands for Fan Edition, is aimed at consumers who want a premium experience without breaking the bank.
The Galaxy S23 FE has a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and full HD+ resolution. It is powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset, depending on the region. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, which is not expandable.
The Galaxy S23 FE has a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is a 10MP sensor.
The Galaxy S23 FE has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. It also has stereo speakers, a fingerprint scanner under the display, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It runs on Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 on top.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is priced at USD 599 (around PHP 34,000), which is USD 200 cheaper than the Galaxy S23. It will be available in Mint, Cream, Graphite, and Purple. It is also available in Indigo and Tangerine, exclusively at Samsung.com.
