Hatasu unveils e-bike lineup for the Philippine market, teases new model coming soon

Leading e-bike brand HATASU revealed its current and upcoming models for the Philippine market at its first-ever HATASU experience event held last October 12, 2023, at Puerto Real, Intramuros Manila.

The event showcased the brand’s five e-bike models: KUMI, NERO, MAKO, MAKO 2, and HARU, which cater to different needs and preferences of Filipino consumers. The e-bikes are powered by rechargeable batteries that can last up to 8 hours and cost as low as ₱20 per full-cycle charge. They also feature various functions such as LED lights, digital meters, anti-theft alarms, and USB ports.

HATASU also teased a new e-bike model that will be launched this November, as well as its future plans to enter the e-motorcycle category by next year. The brand aims to provide sustainable and affordable mobility solutions to Filipinos who are looking for alternatives to traditional vehicles.

HATASU established a strong presence in the Philippines, with over 10,000 users and more than 500 authorized dealer stores nationwide. It also has nine concept stores in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, where customers can try and buy the e-bikes. The brand has partnered with key financial providers such as Aeon Credit Service and Home Credit to offer flexible payment options to its customers. Moreover, HATASU has invested in its after-sales service by providing home service repairs and collaborating with its dealers to build accredited service centers.

HATASU is not only expanding in the Philippines but also in other countries in Asia. They are now registered in five other countries: China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. It aims to push its sustainable mobility goals to more regions in the next few years.
