Netflix releases Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance official teaser trailer, made with Unreal Engine 5

Netflix released the official teaser trailer for its upcoming original anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance”. The series is set to premiere globally on the streaming platform.

The teaser trailer, which is about a minute and a half long, shows glimpses of the intense battles between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon, the two factions that are at war in the Universal Century timeline of the Gundam franchise.

The series will focus on the European front of the One Year War, which was the setting of the first Gundam series “Mobile Suit Gundam” in 1979. The story will follow a group of young pilots who join the Earth Federation and their struggle to survive and fight for their ideals amid the brutal conflict.

Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance on Netflix

The new animated series “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance” is a joint production with Bandai Namco Sunrise Studio and SAFEHOUSE, Inc., and is made with Unreal Engine 5.

Netflix has been expanding its anime offerings in recent years, acquiring the rights to stream popular titles such as “Evangelion”, “Cowboy Bebop”, and “One Piece”. The streaming giant has also produced original anime series such as “Castlevania”, “Devilman Crybaby”, and “Eden”.
