realme C67 5G unveiled: First 5G smartphone in C-series

realme expands its portfolio of 5G smartphones with the launch of the realme C67 5G in India.

The phone is a significant milestone for the brand, as it brings 5G connectivity to its budget-oriented C-series line for the first time. This makes it a great option for users who are looking for an affordable 5G phone with decent specs.

The realme C67 5G features a 6.72-inch full-HD+ IPS display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the 8MP selfie camera. The display offers up to 550 nits of typical brightness and up to 680 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the realme C67 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, which is based on a 6nm process and has an integrated 5G modem. It is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot.

On the back, the realme C67 5G sports a circular camera module that houses a dual-camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture while the secondary camera is a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via a USB-C. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker. It also runs on Android 13 with realme UI 4.0 on top.

The realme C67 5G comes in Sunny Oasis and Dark Purple colors. In India, the 4GB+128GB model is priced at INR 13,999 (around ₱9,400), while the 6GB+128GB model is priced at INR 14,999 (around ₱10,100). The phone will compete against TECNO, OPPO, and vivo in the 5G budget space. There’s no news yet of availability in other countries.
