Infinix HOT 40 and HOT 40 Pro land in the Philippines with budget-friendly prices

Are you looking for a budget gaming phone? Look no further because Infinix launched two new models in the Philippines: the HOT 40 and the HOT 40 Pro. These phones are now available on Shopee, offering large displays, big batteries, and high-megapixel cameras.

The Infinix HOT 40 is the more affordable of the two, priced at ₱6,499. It features a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole selfie camera.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It also has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a side fingerprint scanner, face unlock, and XOS 13.5 on top of Android 13.

The HOT 40 also features Infinix’s Magic Ring notification system, which shows an animation around the hole punch camera for select notifications and alerts.

Infinix HOT 40 Pro

The Infinix HOT 40 Pro is the higher end of the two with a price of ₱7,499 and upgraded specs. It has the same display size at 6.78 inches but with a higher 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone is also more powerful with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD expansion card slot.

The main difference between the vanilla and the Pro variant is the main camera. The HOT 40 Pro has a 108MP main camera. It also has a 2MP macro camera and an AI lens. The selfie camera is also similar with a 32MP sensor.

Battery capacity and fast charging speed are the same at 5000mAh and 33W. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock for security.

The Infinix HOT 40 and HOT 40 Pro are available on Shopee. The phones are currently on sale at discounted prices.

At the time of writing, the HOT 40 is priced at ₱5,699, down from ₱6,499, while the HOT 40 Pro is priced at ₱7,099, down from ₱7,499.

The budget-friendly smartphones offer great performance, battery life, and cameras for their price range. And will compete against popular budget mainstays from Samsung, OPPO, realme, and vivo.
