OPPO is bringing generative AI features to the OPPO Reno11 Series 5G in the second quarter of 2024.
The announcement comes as the company unveiled its new OPPO AI Center, a dedicated research and development hub for AI and its applications that aims to further strengthen OPPO’s AI capabilities and explore a broader range of user-centric AI products and features.
OPPO has been investing in generative AI technology for years and has developed its own large language model, AndesGPT, which comprises as many as 180 billion parameters. AndesGPT can perform various tasks, such as dialogue enhancement, personalization, and cloud-device collaboration, and can generate knowledge, memory, tools, and creation.
OPPO has already introduced some of its generative AI features on its flagship Find X7 series. Soon, the company will bring the features to the Reno11 Series, such as the OPPO AI Eraser and more.
