OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R to launch in the Philippines soon

There are no date or details yet, but expected it to happen soon.

The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R will soon launch in the Philippines. There is no exact date or details yet, but expect it to happen soon. Besides, we already knew the phones were coming to the country soon as both devices were listed (erroneously?) on the OnePlus PH website back in January 2024.

The OnePlus 12 is the premium model of the series. It has a 6.82-inch QHD+ AMOLED ProXDR Display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDRVivid, HDR10+, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is paired with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage.

The phone is a triple rear camera system, co-developed with Hasselblad. The rear cameras include a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor, a 64MP periscope camera with an OmniVision OV64B sensor that offers up to 18x zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX581 sensor. The front camera is a 32MP selfie shooter with a Sony IMX615 sensor.

The OnePlus 12 also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and an Alert Slider. It runs on OxygenOS 14 and has a 5400mAh battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless fast charging.

The OnePlus 12R is a more affordable option. It has a 6.78-inch AMOLED ProXDR Display with the same refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDRVivid, HDR10+, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 as the OnePlus 12. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The OnePlus 12R also has a triple rear camera setup but with a more modest set consisting of a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP 4cm macro lens. It also has a 16MP front camera and a 5500mAh battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
