Redmi Turbo 3 is now official with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 50MP camera

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi unveiled the first phone in its new Turbo series. The Redmi Turbo 3 is now official after being teased a few days ago.

The Redmi Turbo 3 is shaping up to be quite the value-for-money device. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, manufactured with a 4nm process. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

At the front, the phone has a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with many features, including a 120Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color depth, a peak brightness of 2400 nits, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

At the back, the Redmi Turbo 3 has a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor. While in front, there’s a 20MP selfie shooter underneath a hole-punch cutout.

The phone also features a large 5000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, thermal cooling, and support for air gestures.

Redmi Turbo 3 Harry Potter Edition

The Redmi Turbo 3 comes in Green, Titanium, and Black colors, together with a Harry Potter Special Edition variant with a themed UI and packaging.

The phone is priced at CNY 1,999 (around P15,600 or USD 276) for the 12GB+256GB variant, CNY 2,299 (P18,000 or USD 318) for the 12GB+512GB variant, CNY 2,499 (P19,500 or USD 345) for the 16GB+512GB, and CNY 2,799 (P21,850 or USD 387) for the top-end 16GB+1TB variant. The handset is rumored to be released as the POCO F6 in international markets.
