Infinix is set to expand its smartphone lineup in the Philippines with the upcoming launch of the NOTE 40 Series. The highly anticipated release is scheduled for April 24, 2024, as revealed by a teaser on the official Infinix Philippines website and Facebook page.
The series consists of four devices, namely, the NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G, NOTE 40 Pro 5G, NOTE 40 Pro 4G, and NOTE 40 4G. Its not revealed which models will make it here. However, Infinix’s Shopee page lists at least two phones marked “coming soon.”
We’ll focus on the two devices on Shopee listing, the NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G and NOTE 40 Pro 4G, but the full specs and features of the whole series are listed at the end of this post.
The lineup shares many of the same design and features, with just a few differences between them.
The NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G has a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a triple rear camera setup with a 108MP main camera and two 2MP auxiliary cameras; and the same 32MP selfie shooter in a hole punch cutout.
The phone has a 4600mAh battery with 100W fast charging, including the new Infinix Cheetah X1 chip that manages phone charging. It also supports the 20W wireless MagCharge feature.
The NOTE 40 Pro 4G has the same display and cameras. But it has a MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor instead and a 5000mAh battery with 70W fast charging. It also retains the 20W wireless MagCharge.
Expect to see more details, as well as the price reveal, on April 24, 2024. In other markets, the NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G is priced at USD 309 (around P17,600), while the NOTE 40 Pro 4G goes for USD 259 (P14,700). Keep in mind prices and availability will vary per region.
