realme P1 and P1 Pro official with 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP cameras

realme launches the P1 Series in India. The realme P1 5G and P1 Pro 5G are now official and bring compelling features for the price tags, which include 120Hz AMOLED displays, 50MP main cameras, and 5000mAh batteries with 45W fast charging.

realme likely crammed as many “wish list” features as they could fit for the price of the P1. The lineup has a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2200Hz touch sampling rate, a peak brightness of 2000 nits, and an in-display 3D fingerprint scanner. The P1 Pro has a curved screen while the P1 has a flat one.

The lineup also includes a 50MP main camera, backed by a Sony LYT600 sensor, and a 16MP selfie camera. The P1 Pro pairs it with an ultra-wide and macro cameras, while the P1 went with a depth sensor.

The P1 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the P1 has a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The handsets also feature large 5000mAh batteries with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, the Rainwater Smart Touch feature for the display, VC Cooling, and stereo speakers.

Price and Availability

The realme P1 5G is available in Phoenix Red and Peacock Green. It is priced at INR 15,999 (around P11,000 or $192) for the 6GB+128GB variant and INR 18,999 (P13,000 or $227) for the 8GB+256GB variant.

The realme P1 Pro 5G, on the other hand, comes in either Parrot Blue or Phoenix Red. Pricing starts at INR 21,999 (P15,000 or $264) for the 8GB+128GB variant and INR 22,999 (P15,700 or $275) for the 8GB+256GB variant.

Unfortunately, these handsets are India-exclusive only, which means global availability is not likely to happen. The devices will be on sale starting April 30.
