Google has officially released Android 15 to developers. Its source code is available on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). With this, developers can begin exploring the features and enhancements in their applications.
Android 15 is expected to be available on supported Pixel devices in the coming weeks and select devices from Samsung, Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, Motorola, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, realme, Sharp, Sony, Tecno, vivo, and Xiaomi will receive the update in the coming months.
Those with supported Pixel devices will receive the update via OTA as soon as it becomes available. It is also available on the Android 15 QPR beta program for those who can’t wait for the public release.
As with every major Android release, Android 15 is expected to bring new features and improvements across various areas, such as performance, privacy, accessibility, and more.
For now, developers can explore the AOSP repository to learn about the changes in this update.
