Retroid will soon release its latest gaming handhelds, the Pocket 5 and Pocket MINI. These devices offer a compact design, powerful performance, and colorful AMOLED displays.
The Retroid Pocket 5 boasts a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a full HD resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5000mAh battery.
For those looking for a more portable option, the Retroid Pocket MINI offers a 3.7-inch HD OLED display. While slightly smaller, it still packs a punch with the same Snapdragon 865 processor. It also comes with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Both devices support monitor extension via USB-C with DisplayPort, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. They also run on Android and have the same set of control buttons.
Pre-orders for the Retroid Pocket 5 and Pocket MINI will begin on September 9, with a price tag of USD 219 (around Php 12,300) and USD 199 (Php 11,200), respectively.
There’s no news yet of a Philippine release date. However, you can find Retroid and Anbernic devices in Data Blitz offline and online stores.
