HONOR X9c 5G official with triple defense protection, IP65M water resistance

The HONOR X9c has launched, bringing toughness to the mid-range market. The new phone features triple defense protection for drop, water, and scratch resistance.

The X9c has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2700×1224 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4000 nits. Moreover, it brings wet hand touch control, which guarantees seamless operation with wet fingers.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with 12GB+12GB extended RAM and 256GB of storage. It also brings a massive 6600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.

The X9c has a 108MP main camera and a 5MP ultra-wide camera at the back. While in front, a 16MP sensor sits under a small hole punch cutout.

The phone is built to last. It features a 2m drop resistance, scratch resistance for up to 3000 cycles, and an IP65M water resistance, thanks to a 3-later waterproof structure that provides 360-degree protection against water pressure.

Other features include MagicOS 8 with several AI capabilities, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Price and Availability

The HONOR X9c 5G is available in Titanium Purple, Titanium Black, and Jade Cyan colors. It is now open for pre-orders in Malaysia. Pricing starts at MYR 1,499 (around Php 20,100) for the 12GB+256GB model.

There’s no information yet on its availability in the Philippines.
