Tesla officially enters the Philippine market, reveals Model 3 and Model Y price

Tesla has made its official entry into the Philippine market. The company has opened its flagship store at the Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The store will initially offer two models: the Tesla Model Y and Model 3. Both vehicles are expected to be available in the country early next year.

The Tesla Model 3 starts at Php 2,109,000 and boasts an impressive range of 513km and a top speed of 201km/hr. It can accelerate from 0 to 100km/hr in just 6.1 seconds.

The Tesla Model Y, which starts at Php 2,369,000, offers an even longer range of 455km and a higher top speed of 217km/hr. It can accelerate from 0 to 100km/hr in 6.9 seconds.

Both models are customizable, allowing customers to choose from various exterior and interior colors, wheel designs, and autopilot packages for additional costs. A non-refundable down payment of Php 15,000 is required to secure a vehicle.

To support its Philippine operations, Tesla has committed to installing supercharging stations at the Basement 2 parking lot of the Uptown Mall. The company plans to expand its supercharging network in the future.

Charging at these stations will cost Php 19 per kWh, with a full charge costing approximately Php 1,140. Tesla claims that a five-minute charge can deliver enough energy for 120km of driving.
