The HMD Aura² is now official, silently appearing on HMD’s website. The handset seems to be an updated variant of the HMD Arc but with 256GB storage.

The Aura² has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 1280×576 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 460 nits. It also has a water drop notch, housing a 5MP selfie sensor.
The handset has a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP main sensor. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an FM radio. An IP54 rating is included for added durability.
Battery capacity is set at 5000mAh and supports 10W charging. It runs on Android 14 Go. HMD promises up to two years of quarterly security updates.


The HMD Aura² is available in two colors — Shadow Black and Electric Purple. In Australia, it is priced at AUD 169 (roughly PHP 6,200 or USD 106). Expect availability in other regions soon.
