OPPO unveils ultra-thin Find N5 foldable

OPPO has officially launched the Find N5 in the global market. Touted as the world’s thinnest book-style foldable phone, this device features a thin and lightweight design, an expansive inner display, enhanced durability, and next-gen AI-powered performance.

OPPO Find N5

The Find N5 is incredibly thin, measuring just 8.93mm thin when folded, making it the thinnest in that configuration. It opens up to a 4.21mm thin frame, weighing only 229g.

The foldable is built with OPPO’s Armour Shield, which fortifies its overall structural integrity to enhance its durability. The phone’s frame is made from a composite of 7000 series aluminum alloy, boasting a 30% increase in strength. It also has an ultra-durable nanocrystal glass, which reinforces the cover display with a 20% improvement in drop resistance.

One of the key features of the Find N5 is its Titanium Flexion Hinge. The hinge is 26% smaller and 36% more rigid than its predecessor. Its components are made from Grade 5 titanium alloy and Ultra-High Strength Steel (UHSS) to ensure long-lasting durability. While the TÜV Rheinland Reliable Folding Certification guarantees reliability in extreme conditions.

Under the hood, the Find N5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It has a Hexagon NPU that enhances AI performance by 45%, while the second-generation 3nm architecture ensures extended battery life. The device runs on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, with several AI functionalities.
