Infinix unveils solar charging for phones and next-gen customization at MWC 2025

Infinix has taken a significant step into the future with its latest unveilings at ShowStoppers MWC 2025. Aligned with its vision of “Empowering Tomorrow with AI, Eco-Tech, and Personalized Innovations,” Infinix introduced two groundbreaking concepts: SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology and E-Color Shift 2.0.

SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology

Infinix’s SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology redefines mobile phone charging by combining advanced perovskite photovoltaic technology with AI-powered optimization.

This innovation transforms indoor and outdoor ambient light into usable electricity, which is then stored within a smartphone and its companion phone case.

The “Sunflower” Wireless Charging technology, inspired by heliotropic plants, efficiently adapts to light sources within a 3-meter range, setting the stage for future advancements in wireless charging.

Key highlights include:

  • Extended Battery Standby: Efficiently collects light under varying conditions, offering prolonged device operation.
  • AI-Driven Energy Management: Prevents overheating and ensures optimal performance with intelligent MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology.
  • Emergency Backup Power: Acts as a dependable solution during power outages or urgent situations.
