Ahead of the GT7 Series global launch, the brand showcased the device with a 2-minute video from realme Global Marketing President Chace Xu, highlighting its ultra-high capacity and efficient charging speed.
Despite the large battery, the prototype boasts a compact profile, measuring 8.5mm thick and weighing 215 grams.
The battery uses 10% silicon anode technology, which allows for an energy density of up to 887Wh/L for improved efficiency.

realme also introduced Mini Diamond Architecture, shrinking the PCB to 23.4mm, the smallest ever in an Android phone. A double-grooved aluminum frame adds strength, improving durability against drops and impacts.

While still in the prototype stage, the technology showcases realme’s push toward longer-lasting and faster-charging smartphones. It will take a while before we see the massive battery in actual devices. However, if development continues, we could see a new industry standard for battery performance. Stay tuned.
