Infinix is set to launch the GT 30 Pro in the Philippines on June 22, 2025.
Its latest gaming flagship is shaping up to be a serious contender, loaded with powerful features, headlined by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, a smooth 144Hz AMOLED display with an all-day 120FPS system, and responsive GT Triggers, all designed to elevate the mobile gaming experience.
Ahead of a full review, here’s a quick glimpse into what the Infinix GT 30 Pro has to offer.
Inside the Box
The Infinix GT 30 Pro’s retail package comes neatly wrapped in an MPL-inspired sleeve, adding excitement to the unboxing experience. Inside, you’ll find the usual set of accessories, including a 45W fast charger and a sleek silicone case with added GT design.

Package contents:
- Infinix GT 30 Pro unit
- Silicone case
- Fast charger
- USB-C cable
- SIM eject tool
- Documentation
Initial Setup
Setting up the GT 30 Pro is straightforward, like most Android devices. One notable surprise is the minimal bloatware (almost none, in fact), which made the initial setup more pleasant. However, I would still recommend uninstalling or disabling any apps you don’t need.
The smartphone runs on XOS 15 (based on Android 15) right out of the box. This is the latest version of Infinix’s mobile operating system, bringing a range of features and enhancements, including improved performance, productivity tools, and a clean interface.
First Impressions: Superb Design and Build Quality
At first glance, the Infinix GT 30 Pro impresses with an eye-catching design and solid build quality. Given the price point, I wasn’t expecting much, and yet the device stands out in terms of quality.

Despite the budget-friendly positioning, Infinix delivered a well-made gaming phone. Its build quality is excellent. The flat sides and display add to excellent ergonomics, with a good hand-feel you rarely see in this segment.
The frame is made of durable plastic, while the back features the Cyber Mecha 2.0 design, now more refined and less aggressive, complemented by a smooth and silky finish.
The back also features the Mechanical Light Waves customizable LED lighting, which lights up for notifications and other functions. Durability is a major highlight of the phone, boasting an IP64 dust and water-resistant construction.

Despite a 6.78-inch display, the phone maintains a compact feel thanks to ultra-narrow bezels and a slim 8.75mm profile. Our review unit is the Shadow Ash color variant, which looks gorgeous. It also features a green accent on the power button and around the rectangular camera island.
The GT 30 Pro is also available in Blade White, featuring a sleek silver hue, and Dark Flare, a bolder variant with a more aggressive design and red accents.
The Dark Flare edition includes a bundled Gaming Kit, which comes with a thermally optimized MagCase for improved heat dissipation and the MagCharge Cooler, a lightweight magnetic wireless charging fan that keeps the device cool while supporting sustained all-day 120FPS performance.

Back to the display, the GT 30 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED panel with a crisp 2720×1224 resolution. Designed for gaming, it boasts a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and an ultra-responsive 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate for precise controls. The peak brightness of 4500 nits also ensures excellent visibility even in bright environments.
You can find the volume and power buttons on the right side, along with the GT Triggers. The SIM tray, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker are at the bottom. On top is another speaker, an IR port, and another microphone.

Beyond the design, something to look forward to is its gaming and camera performance. The GT 30 Pro is equipped with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor. Initial tests had their AnTuTu score go over 1.25 million.
Meanwhile, in the photography department, it packs a 108MP main camera and a 32MP selfie shooter. Again, initial tests show a lot of promise.

This wraps up our first impressions of the Infinix GT 30 Pro. Stay tuned for our full review, where we will explore more of its features and performance.
